Karol Bandura, the CEO of Polish warehouse developer LCube, explains why smaller is beautiful – or at least a lot faster and more flexible in the warehousing market
Does the appointment of a new CEO signify a change in strategy for LCube?
Karol Bandura, CEO, LCube: I’m not planning any revolutionary changes. LCube’s strategy is already well formulated – we concentrate on modern sustainable warehouse space that meets the needs of tenants and investors. Our projects stand out for their high standards and our increasing adoption of ESG. One such example is our project in Dobrzykowice near Wrocław, which has been BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certified and complies with EU taxonomy when it comes to energy efficiency. Nonetheless, we are evolving in line with the philosophy of the Adamietz Group, of which we are a part and whose strength depends on having many projects in different sectors of the market. This makes us resilient to market fluctuations. As a result we are considering a slight diversification of LCube’s portfolio towards renewable energy in order to strengthen our position. Evolution not revolution is our way.
