POLAND Polish State Railways (PKP) has chosen the architectural concept for the modernisation of the Bydgoszcz Główna railway station.
The station is to be renovated according to the Inside Outside project designed by the Allplan architectural studio. “Inside Outside involves the construction of an Island building as well as the complete redesign of the front building, which will open up the entire station to the town. It is an interesting, modern project," explains Piotr Ciżkowicz, a member of the board of PKP. The company made its decision after consulting with the city authorities.
