ESTONIA Polish architectural studio WXCA has won the Baltic Sea Art Park international architectural competition and has been awarded a prize of EUR 5,000 for its KGAMMP design.
The competition aimed to find the best spatial solution for establishing an art park in the heart of Pärnu. The art park will be located on the left shore of Pärnu River, close to the only road bridge, the historical Suursild (Great Bridge). The jury awarded the second prize of EUR 3,000 to the entry entitled “A Welcoming Fortification”, by London-based architectural studio Stanton Williams.
