CEE project wins ULI competition

Architecture and urban planning
EUROPE Thirteen real estate developments, including four European projects, have been selected as winners in the 2014 Urban Land Institute (ULI) Global Awards for Excellence competition.
The ULI competition recognizes real estate projects that achieve a high standard of excellence in design, construction, economics, planning, and management. European winners included Hungary’s Corvin Promenade, Portugal’s Mercado do Bom Sucesso, the UK’s Sixty London and Norway’s Tjuvholmen. Developed in Budapest by Futureal Group, Corvin Promenade is a 22-ha regeneration project that “creates a civic center for the city’s 8th district.” It was designed by Futureal Group and Rév8,

Germany Cancom leases from Garbe

Garbe Industrial has leased a total area of around 4,800 sqm in Norderstedt, just outside Hamburg, to IT service provider Cancom, which is to use the space for the storage and servicing of IT equipment. Cancom is to start operations from Norderstedt in the third quarter of 2026.

7R has issued series D bonds with an aggregate nominal value of PLN 52 mln. The bonds will mature in three years and carry an interest rate of 4.25 pct plus the WIBOR GM. Furniture manufacturer Nowy Styl has renewed its lease in the Oxygen Park office complex in Warsaw. As part of the transaction, the company’s showroom underwent a complete refurbishment in February this year. The tenant occupies around 550 sqm in the centre.
