POLAND Polish State Railways (PKP) has published pictures of the future Częstochowa Główna railway station.
Construction work should begin in mid 2021. The competition to find a concept design was won by Toprojekt from Rybnik in collaboration with two Paris studios: Andstudio and Studio Antonini. “We are soon to start negotiations with the winner of the competition and hopefully we will sign a contract to have the detailed design drawn up, which we plan to take place in Q1 this year,” announced Małgorzata Zielińska, a member of the management board of PKP.
