POLAND Twenty Polish projects up for Mies van der Rohe Award

Architecture and urban planning
Twenty Polish projects have been nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award for 2022.
A total of 449 architectural projects across the continent completed between October 2018 and October 2020 have been included in the first list for the award. The Polish architectural projects nominated for the award fall into the collective housing, culture, and urban projects categories and are as follows: The Płocka, Młynów and Księcia Janusza stations on the Warsaw Metro’s second line by Kazimierski i Ryba Biuro Projektów and Łukasz Górzyński The redevelopment of the PKS coach

Czech investment group SCF, together with its partners, has completed the purchase of the Jantar shopping centre in Słupsk, Poland. With a leasable area of 44,000 sqm, it is the largest shopping centre in the Central Pomerania region. The seller was CBRE Investment Management, a global real asset investment manager.
