POLAND Twenty Polish projects up for Mies van der Rohe Award

Twenty Polish projects have been nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award for 2022.
A total of 449 architectural projects across the continent completed between October 2018 and October 2020 have been included in the first list for the award. The Polish architectural projects nominated for the award fall into the collective housing, culture, and urban projects categories and are as follows: The Płocka, Młynów and Księcia Janusza stations on the Warsaw Metro’s second line by Kazimierski i Ryba Biuro Projektów and Łukasz Górzyński The redevelopment of the PKS coach

Total investment volume across the CEE-6 markets reached EUR 5.8 bln - up from EUR 5.4 bln a year earlier, confirming that capital is returning to the region however in a more selective and disciplined way than in previous cycles.
