CZECH REPUBLIC Penta and friends buy Prague plot

Architecture and urban planning
Penta Real Estate, Kaprain Group and Sekyra Group have purchased a 2 ha plot from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (VŠCHT) at the western end of Vítězné náměstí square in Prague 6.

On the site, which has changed hands for around CZK 1 bln (app. EUR 40 mln), Penta is planning to develop offices, shops, and apartments.

This is definitely one of the most interesting spots in Prague, and we would like to organise an international competition with regards to this multifunctional development concept, which would have abundant greenery and communal space. Prague itself is an attractive location for architects, and with the completion of the construction in Vítězné náměstí we can expect first class results.
Pavel Streblov, Penta’s commercial business director

The re-construction of Vítězné náměstí is intended to realise the urban concept for the north-west of central Prague designed by Antonín Engel in 1920.
