SLOVAKIA ESET Campus plans unveiled

Architecture and urban planning
Slovakian cyber-security specialist ESET has unveiled its plans for ESET Campus – a 55,000 sqm innovation and technology hub in its home city of Bratislava.

The complex, which has been designed by Danish studio BIG-Bjarke Ingels, will also be ESET’s new headquarters.

I envision the ESET Campus as a creative hub where bold cybersecurity solutions come to life so that we all can enjoy the vast potential of advanced technology. By building an inclusive, diverse, green and collaborative workplace fit for the future, we are addressing the pressing needs of our employees, customers, partners and our communities. We will continue our strong alignment with societal needs in order to support science, education and innovation.
Richard Marko, the CEO of ESET

ESET Campus, which is to be built on the site of a former military hospital in Patrónka in west Bratislava, will comprise twelve individual buildings of varying sizes and uses around a central courtyard. The design goal is for an entirely electric building, with a vast solar roof and ground-source heat pumps to generate significant amounts of renewable energy. Timber is to be used throughout the project to minimise the carbon footprint.

Construction work is expected to begin in 2024 and to be completed in 2027.
