Wilanów town hall to be finished

POLAND Ewa Kuryłowicz from the Kuryłowicz & Associates architectural studio has presented the design of the Wilanów town hall to the city of Warsaw.
Construction work on the building (the original design of which was also by the Kuryłowicz studio) stalled almost ten years ago 10 years ago, due to problems with the Turkish general contractor and a corruption scandal involving local government officials from the Wilanów district. The original design comprised the town hall building with an area of app. 3,440 sqm as well as an app. 3,000 sqm office block between ul. Klimczaka and al. Wilanowska. The new design has a slightly larger cubic area
