Germany Solar mounting manufacturer chooses Garbe
Garbe has signed a long-term lease agreement with Schletter Solar. The manufacturer of mounting systems for photovoltaic installations is to occupy a total area of 11,500 sqm in the Niedersachsenpark Rieste, about 30 km north of Osnabrück, Germany.

Poland Panattoni in the western part of Poznań
Panattoni has launched construction on its second urban investment in the administrative capital of Wielkopolska. Building has begun on the 12,750 sqm City Logistics Poznań II centre. The investment costs will come to EUR 17 mln.

Albania A centre with towers behind
Italian Studio Fuksas has won an international competition to design a trade fair and exhibition centre to be built in Tirana. The planned development is to be built on a 10,000-square-metre site on New Boulevard, in the centre of the city.

Hungary Bidfood has chosen Panattoni
Panattoni has signed new lease contract for the Panattoni City Dock Törökbálint complex, which opened in May. Food wholesaler and distributor Bidfood will lease two thirds of one of the buildings.

RUSSIA/UKRAINE Russian builders enlisted in return for orders
Moscow city authorities have “asked” development and construction companies to enlist their workers to fight in the war in Ukraine in exchange for orders. One of these corporations is to provide the Russian defence ministry with 30 volunteers ready to be posted to the front by the end of August.

The Insurance company Unum Życie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń i Reasekuracji will move into the Studio building at ul. Łucka in Warsaw. The company will occupy three floors of the 13 planned in the edifice. The move is scheduled for the third quarter of 2024.
