Seeing the sunny side
As the holiday period approaches so the number conferences and events seems to increase, which is why this July issue of \\\\\\\'Eurobuild Poland\\\\\\\' may seem more like a "lifestyle" publication. But this is only how it appears, since conferences on the preparations for the Euro 2012 European football championships(p. 32) and on the investment possibilities for Gdafsk (p. 56) are certainly not intended to induce laughter from our readers.
The holiday mood may also turn slightly sour at the suggestion that the Polish investment boom may be waning. We write on this issue in connection with the appearance on the Polish market of a new type of investor (p. 10). Further evidence of this may be provided by the fact that housing developers are having to recruit customers with increased aggression - quite a new phenomenon (p. 16). Retail experts are also voicing the view that new players in their sector of the industry are no longer entering the fray since the cake now seems to have been fully divided among those already present (p. 20).
But let us not lose heart. Instead, let\\\\\\\'s find a spot to lie on an exotic sun-drenched beach lazily sipping sophisticated drinks and perusing this summer edition of \'Eurobuild Poland\'.
