Numbers and people

12 people – appearing in the inaugural EuroJobs column. To find out the new names in the industry, those who have only changed their team colours and those who have been promoted, turn to page 66 for the EuroJobs column.

200 people – attended the Retail Vision Conference we organized for the eighth time in Warsaw’s Hyatt Hotel. An account of what took place during that meeting and a reply to the question why “it’s well worth fighting for a space for yourself” is given on page 74.

25,000 people – are expected at this year’s MIPIM fair in Cannes, including 4 from ‘Eurobuild Poland’. We may be playing a small part in yet another record being broken, following on from the almost 22,000 visitors at last year’s event. A report from the fair will be published in the next issue of our monthly.

64,000 people – are said to have passed through Złote Tarasy on the shopping centre’s opening day. We write on page 28 about the investment which has changed the face of Warsaw city centre.

65,000 people – the maximum number of employees allowed to work in the new office buildings being developed by Echo Investment, since according to the regulations of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy there must be at least 2 sqm of free space for each employee. The total floor space in the projects planned by Echo is calculated on page 46.
