I also love negotiation, difficult deals - deals the other companies are not interested in because it requires skills in different markets and also the expertise our teams have.

Today 1,000 people work for Orco and contribute to making a better Europe. Orco’s biggest success so far has been developing a number of projects as well as a brand in Central Europe.

I could mention a personal or professional failure. But when I think of “failure” I think more about how I can turn it into a successful challenge.

Poland will gain a new icon in its capital, designed by the world famous architect Daniel Libeskind. Our new projects – Złota 44 and Mokotowska 59 will contribute widely to the image and life of the Polish capital. These projects are dedicated to this place. But, even the greatest architecture is not worth much, if it has not been designed without considering the people: the residents of Warsaw and the future tenants of the two projects.

44 in the centre will help to achieve the goal of bringing the residential sector back from the suburbs to the centre and re–create new public spaces and vibrant communities. This will also benefit the environment, reducing traffic and emissions in the city centre. Our main goal is to make sure that Złota 44 has a positive impact on the residents of Warsaw and on its future occupants – on their health, safety and well–being.

The two major projects planned in Warsaw are the Złota 44 high–rise apartments and the Mokotowska 59 residences. Złota 44 is a unique project by Daniel Libeskind, which is going to be located in the very city centre, in the neighbourhood of the Palace of Culture. The residents of this luxury high–rise will have the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular view of Warsaw. This project is supposed to symbolize the new age of the Polish capital and its freedom.

The building’s unconventional shape is not the only feature which is important. We wish to give some special added value to its residents. We offer them an ecologically–friendly, “green” building with the best applicable technology on the market.

The other investment which is currently under construction is Mokotowska 59 – a luxury apartment building situated in the historical part of Warsaw, on ul. Mokotowska. This is a unique investment which gives people the opportunity to take advantage of all the benefits of living in a city centre, while still enjoying calm surroundings.

It’s not a specific memory, it is just the natural link to my family.

First the weather is nice. I wake up early, go swimming. There is a great view and a good internet connection. I start slowly and I am happy to work. My wife Corinne and my kids are not far away. Later I will be able to walk in the hills or I will spend time on a boat for example. In the evening, we will simply have dinner on the terrace with our friends.

The best restaurants are the ones where they play jazz. Apart from my family, jazz is one of the most important elements of my life. I love jazz and classical music. I play the viola and piano. Therefore I enjoy spending time in good restaurants with good company and good music.

I have several of them. We simply have a great friendship and that is the reason. Friendship can be defined in many ways – everybody has his own understanding of the term

Arrogance, anybody who is so sure they have THE knowledge.

I would like to be remembered not only as a good professional but as a person who was not afraid to take a risk, as a man who was not afraid of developing extraordinary projects. Apart from all that, I would like people to say that in every business decision and every investment I and my teams have ever made, we have always tried to think of the impact our decisions and our investments would have on people. But the most important message is that I want everybody to know that I have such great pleasure doing my job!

So I hope I will be remembered at least as a good person.
