Żywiec to dispose of site in Gdańsk
The Polish brewer Żywiec is to dispose of a brewery complex in Gdańsk in northern Poland, which consists of two sites: one of which totals around 34,491 sqm and the other, which comprises warehousing property, comes to approximately 20,375 sqm. The oldest of the buildings were built in the second part of the nineteenth century and the most recent, ten years ago, some of which have been refurbished. DTZ Zadelhoff Tie Leung has been instructed to sell the complex on behalf of Grupa Żywiec.
Deal at ProLogis Park Błonie
The paper distributor for printing firms, office use and visual communication materials, Antalis Poland, has signed a lease agreement for 10,751 sqm of distribution space, at ProLogis Park Błonie, which is located some fifteen miles west of Warsaw and consists of a total of 71,075 sqm of distribution space.
Exel takes up space at Bokserska
The international supply chain management firm Exel has signed a lease agreement to take up 1,950 sqm at the Bokserska Office and Distribution Centre, in Warsaw. Of this, 1,700 sqm will be warehouse and 250 sqm office space. The office part of the complex consists of a total of 7,200 sqm and the distribution centre 15,000 sqm. In the deal between the tenant and developer, the Ghelamco Group, DTZ represented the latter.
VF Polska to build new factory in Poland
The jeans' producer VF Polska, part of VF Corporation, is to build a new factory in Łódż, after a conducting a detailed analysis of relocation costs and because they deem the staff they already employ in Poland as highly qualified. Cushman & Wakefield H&B have been selected as consultants by VF Polska, for the duration of the project to build the factory. In May this year, VF's landlord Merloni Indesit Polska, a household appliances producer, terminated its lease agreement with the former, with one and a half year's notice, so that they could occupy the property themselves.
Steel products distributor to develop warehouse near Katowice
The steel products distributor, Stalprofil, has acquired industrial property near Katowice, at a cost of EUR 459,000, from the troubled local sector firm Stalexport. It will renovate the building so that it becomes a warehouse facility.
