High British factory rents could attract business to Poland

A report by CB Hillier Parker in the UK has found that factory rents there grew by 4.5 per cent in the year leading up to March this year, compared to 1.8 per cent in the rest of Europe. That rents in Central Europe, particularly in the Czech Republic and Poland, are looking significantly favourable, means they could prove to be increasingly attractive for British manufacturers. Rents in Warsaw were held to have fallen by a massive 16.6 per cent and whereas a square metre of prime industrial space in Birmingham was an average of UKP 90, in the Polish capital it amounted to UKP 56.

Two lease agreements at ProLogis Park Teresin

Two lease agreements have been signed at ProLogis Park Teresin. One, involving the international transport and distribution company, Bruhn-Transport Polska, is for 13,906 sqm. The firm will move its operations there from ProLogis Park Błonie in September this year.
Another deal for 8,538 sqm of distribution space has been signed by the beverage producer Ambra at the centre, which is around forty kilometres west of Warsaw.
