No deception
The Platan Group have something quite intriguing up their sleeves: antique interiors, a quaint structure and an excellent central Warsaw location. High rents (USD 30 sqm) and equally pricey parking unfortunately come part and parcel. However it is clear that Dom Dochodowy o Trzech Frontach (with three facades) will find tenants
The first of them, two exclusive boutique shops: Ermenegildo Zegna with 176
sqm, and Mariella Burani with 180 sqm and the United Bank of Switzerland with
over 200 sqm have already come forward, and Jones Lang LaSalle are working on
finding others.
The renovation and construction of the Plac Trzech Krzyży property, located on
the corner of Al. Ujazdowskie and ul. Mokotowska, was no trivial challenge for
the Platan Group who bought the three 'kamienicas' in 1997 (one element of the
complex has already been constructed) "The most difficult stage of
construction was the two years of reinforcement work in the grounds," says
Anna Stawny of the Platan Group. "The refurbishment of the interior also
demanded a lot of commitment, not to mention the highest class specialists, as
it had to be conducted in accordance with all environmental regulations and
under the close scrutiny of a conservator. The work lasted four years but was
finally finished at the end of December 2002.
The complex is unique in terms of its structure, as it consists of three
buildings linked together by a sophisticated system of stylish staircases and
hallways with an internal atrium. The meticulousness of the finishing touches
such as the renovated paneled floors, stoves, faithfully preserved wall
ornaments and even an antique crane for lifting barrels should draw those fond
of working in prestigious premises, such as law firms and financial institutions
perhaps. The Platan Group however has a competitor, i.e. the classy, though far
from similar, Metropolitan building in Pl. Piłsudskiego, the owners of which
are hoping to attract a similar league of clients at comparable rents.
