After a day of smashing balls around, the players were able to finally take off their golfing caps and tennis headbands to let their hair down at the after-party that evening.
It was time to get down and boogie (or whatever word the kids these days use), because the theme for the evening was rock. Just like last year many of the gals at the party took advantage of the onsite hairdresser to sport the classic hairstyles of the late 50s and early 60s, while many of the guys turned up in leathers. At the entrance the guests were greeted with a whisky cocktail, and after being refreshed by this many of them went to the buffet to fuel up with food and lounge around outside in the warm summer air. Then the band came on stage. They call themselves K.A.C, which in a very loose translation means ‘the hangover’, and while they are obviously still very young they clearly have stardust in their eyes. Indeed, the lead singer already looks like a rock star with long blond frizzy locks and torn jeans, and he sounded like one too, being able to screech in tune and at high volume in a falsetto similar to Axl Rose.
