Success has many fathers...

I would like to thank my  husband my mom, my dad, and, of course, the jury...  During this special evening you may also feel a powerful urge to express a desire for world peace. While clutching for the statuette you could also quip that the outfit you put on for the occasion cost more than the work you received the award for. This was Jessica Yu’s thank you speech for the Oscar she received for a short documentary in 1997. In just a few weeks, on December 8th, some of you ladies and gentlemen will have your own opportunity to experience such a moment and also to thank all of those who have contributed (as they say, success has many fathers, while failure is an orphan) to achievements which have been appreciated by the tenants of commercial facilities and market experts that make up the members of the jury assessing the properties, companies and people nominated for the award.
The Eurobuild Awards gala is organised by Eurobuild for the real estate sector, but it is you who decides who deserves to be recognised. While walking up the red carpet at the MAPIC fair in Cannes there will still just be time for you to decide who real estate’s own version of the Palme D’Or should go to. I hope that after soaking in the atmosphere of the French Riviera, we will later spend the December evening together in the Hilton Hotel congratulating the winners, entranced by the performance by Natasza Urbańska of Studio Buffo and enjoying ourselves until the early hours...
