Three WELL certificates for Futureal

WELL certification rates buildings based on seven categories: air, water, healthy nourishment, natural light, fitness, comfort and mental freshness. Currently there are 34 WELL precertified office buildings worldwide. “Futureal Group has been committed to developing all of its future office buildings to WELL Building standards, since the health of the employees working in the building must be a key priority during the planning stage,” said Tibor Tatár, the CEO of Futureal. “The WELL building standard together with LEED and BREEAM certification can form a complex system that leads to creating buildings that meet the highest sustainability requirements,” he added. Futureal started the construction of Advance Tower office building at the end of 2016. The ‘A’ class office building is BREEAM certified. The project will eventually comprise 20,000 sqm gla built in two stages through an investment of EUR 68 mln (HUF 21 bln). The Corvin Technology & Science Park (Corvin 5) project is being built in an investment of EUR 90 mln. Work was launched in the spring of 2017 and 27,000 sqm should be delivered in the project by the end of this year. The Budapest One office park will comprise 70,000 sqm built over a number of stages. The first phase will consist of nearly 25,000 sqm of office space and 2,600 sqm earmarked for retail and services. The project also includes an underground car park with 480 spaces. “Futureal Group’s office buildings with WELL precertification at the platinum level will achieve better indoor air quality with advanced ventilation and higher quality drinking water,” – said Gábor Radványi, the chief architect at Futureal.
