Poland Poland records the highest warehouse take-up in Europe
According to the latest report from Cushman & Wakefield, the Polish industrial market saw a marked upturn in occupier activity in Q2 2024, reporting the highest leasing volume in Europe. In addition, Poland’s total industrial stock is poised to soon surpass the 35 mln sqm mark.

Poland Lighting manufacturer's factory almost ready
Trilux is preparing to open its new factory in Świdnik. The 23,000 sqm facility is being built by Panattoni for the lighting manufacturer. The investment will enable the Trilux Group not only to increase production, assembly capacity and improve logistics in this part of Europe, but also to develop new products and carry out administrative and IT activities.

Poland City Logistics Poznań III is ready
Harden Construction has completed the construction of City Logistics Poznań III. The building in Poland has already been handed over to Raben Logistics Polska for use. The warehouse is located in Poznań, at ul. Obodrzycka, near the A2 motorway.

POLAND K-Flexes its muscles in Silesia
A BTS project has been completed for insulation and acoustic materials producer K-Flex in Uniejów, about 55 km northwest of Łódź. The new building increases the existing plant on the site by 20,000 sqm to 120,000 sqm.

Romania More than double new demand
Companies leased 410,500 sqm of industrial & logistics spaces in the first half of the year, a total which reflects a 25 pct drop when compared with the previous year. However, according to data from the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox, the new demand had a share of 52 pct in the overall leasing volume in the same period (213,500 sqm), more than double vs. the new supply.

Poland CTP is expanding in Zabrze
CTP has started construction of a new 11,200 sqm manufacturing facility at its CTPark Zabrze complex. The ZABR02 building will be built speculatively for manufacturing use with lease modules of a minimum size starting from 1,500 sqm.

Germany K+S takes the last space in Wildeck
Garbe Industrial Real Estate is expanding its cooperation with the mining and fertiliser company K+S. In Wildeck in northern Hesse, the Hamburg-based project developer has leased another logistics hall with a total area of around 7,200 sqm.

Poland Tenants fill up City Point Targówek
The joint venture between Partners Group and Peakside Capital Advisors has secured rental agreements for more than 16,000 sqm of space at City Point Targówek. Companies across various industries have pre-leased more than 70 pct of the space in the C2 building, the first multi-let building of the phased re-development, with scheduled completion by the end of the year.

Romania VGP extends Braşov complex
VGP has started the construction works to expand building B at VGP Park Brașov. This phase will add an additional 13,800 sqm to the existing 20,900 sqm already leased, thus addressing the growing demand for modern logistics spaces in the region.

Cogito EU, a supplier of parts for construction machinery, has leased 4,500 sqm of space at the MLP Gliwice logistics centre. The company will move into the new facility in November.

Czech Republic A gradual increase of vacancy
Industrial Research Forum has announced industrial market figures for Q2 2024. The total amount of projects currently under construction increased to 969,800 sqm at the end of Q2 2024, out of which around 32 pct was already pre-leased. With over 117,000 sqm completed, the modern industrial stock in the Czech Republic reached the milestone of 12 mln sqm.

Poland City Logistics Kraków enters final stage
Panattoni has begun the final construction stage of its City Logistics Kraków I warehouse park in the city’s Nowa Huta district. A total of 11,300 sqm is to be built with the park, which will expand to its final target size to 36,500 sqm.

Romania LPP signs deal for new e-commerce facility
LPP, a fashion retailer, is moving into a new e-commerce facility at CTPark Bucharest West. Together with CTP, the fashion brand is extending its current building to support the delivery of the new facility. This will take LPP’s total footprint at the park to around 90,000 sqm with the new facility comprising around 40,000 sqm.
