Waimea likes it small

We prefer small locations. The most interesting for us are eastern Poland, south-eastern Poland as well as Bydgoszcz, where we are working on our new investment now. We will also further develop our Szczecin project, said Andrzej Rosiński, president of the board of Waimea Holding.
"For sure we will not invest in large, well-known locations. Warsaw, Silesia - those locations are not interesting for us. But we are successful and our projects are needed elsewhere. // I can already speak about Rzeszów and the areas bordering Ukraine, by which I mainly mean Korczowa, where we are building a trans-shipment hub. There is also Lublin, Białystok, Bydgoszcz, Szczecin and maybe Zielona Góra," said Andrzej Rosiński, president of the board of Waimea Holding.
"Our philosophy arises from the fact that we are a small company, so we have less opportunities for project financing. We are 100 pct a Polish private company. We don't have the support that the big companies have that belong to large investment funds. We do not want to compete them, so we seek out locations where we can realise projects of our scale, such as 50,000-70,000 sqm logistics parks. We also build, to individual order, multimodal projects, mainly for maritime and air transport purposes," Andrzej Rosiński explained.
