Alex Kloszewski, Hotel Professionals: The hotel market in 2016

"Three new hotel chains are to have openings in 2016, as far as I can remember. But 2017 will be a better year for new projects," Alex Kloszewski explained. "The high demand for hotel rooms and occupancy growth is continuing throughout the country, with all the regions enjoying better results in 2015 than in previous years," he added. "We can also see the phenomenon of many new hotels opening in regional markets in Poland," he said and added tha "we really had a very good year. Poznań was the only city in the last three or four years that has had problem with occupancy, but this year there has been a small rise – of 1.5 pct."
