The 9th Conference Office Market for Poland
Piotr Ratajczyk, general manager, Grupa Konkret, responsible for the Modlin Fortress Project: "The design work can start from the beginning of the next year. It will take up to 1.5 years. When the building permit is awarded, it will take up to six years to complete the project. We do not want to develop the project in too many stages – at a maximum two – as this would take too long and create higher costs, and nobody wants to live or work on a construction site."
Władysław Grochowski, CEO, Arche Grupa: "We have a building permit for the Łódź Kaliska hotel and all the documentation prepared. We’re now talking with people from the market to find tenants and a buyer."
Agnieszka Ciupak, senior leasing manager, HB Reavis: "At the beginning of the year HB Reavis bought a 1 ha plot on ul. Targowa. We are planning to build a 30,000 sqm office building there with service and retail space on the ground floor. We are now in the process of selecting the architects."
Krzysztof Misiak, partner, head of regional cities, office agency, Cushman&Wakefield: "For the last two years, Łódź has been the most rapidly developing office market in Poland. We expect this to continue for another three years. We expect the office stock in Łódź to rise by 50 pct by 2021."
