Shopping centre management by Unibail-Rodamco
This is a daily struggle. Every day we have to think about what we can do to improve our shopping centres as well as how we can please our customers and our tenants. I think this is what is crucial. We are trying to improve the quality and safety of our centre. Our first thought is that we want each of our customers to find his or her place in the centre.
What is currently being changed in Warsaw’s Arkadia shopping centre?
In Arkadia we want to create a nice play area for children, which was something that the centre was lacking. We have also renovated the fountain, which is great fun for children to play in when it is hot outside. These are the kinds of elements that we have to work on every day to make the customer feel that they are surrounded by a nice atmosphere.
Where did the idea come from for the ‘Arkadia on a Fork’ and the ‘Galeria Mokotów on a Fork’ workshops?
These workshops are there for teaching children. We want to educate them. We know they have school, but we want to show the kids that there are also catering classes and we want to teach them about safety. In this way we want to give something back to the community.
