Successful quarter for warehouses in Poland, Krzysztof Kienorow of Colliers International

„The warehouse market in Poland has been very dynamic since the start of 2014. Some 270,000 sqm of the new space was delivered in the first quarter, five times more than in Q4 2013. The deal volume reached 438,000 sqm, lower than record in Q4 2013, when it was 908,000 sqm. New deals made up 69 pct of the volume,” said Krzystof Kienorow. The largest deals included the lease renegotiation of app. 40,000 sqm by Carrefour in Distribution Park Będzin, and an lease agreement of a distribution centre near Konin (almost 40,000 sqm).
