Marek Tomanek

Marek Tomanek has been appointed by the supervisory board to the position of chief operating officer. He is to be responsible for the global operations of the group. Marek holds an Executive MBA accredited by the University of Minnesota from the Warsaw School of Economics. He also studied at the University of Economics in Katowice and the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology. Previously, he was employed by Eaton Corporation from 2008, where for two years he held the position of factory manager in Bielsko-Biała before being promoted to factory director. Later he was promoted to operations director with responsibility for European strategy. From 2002 he was employed by Valeo as lean production manager. Prior to this position he was employed by Ford where he worked as a manager responsible for planning production, engineering changes, componenet supply, central warehousing, purchases, cost savings and quality.
