Monika Dębska-Pastakia has joined the real estate sector experts in the Deal Advisory Department at KPMG in Poland, taking the position of Associate Partner.
Monika Dębska-Pastakia is responsible for the establishment and development of the multidisciplinary Real Estate Advisory team, specialising in strategic and operational advisory for clients in the real estate sector, covering sales transactions, restructuring of real estate portfolios, sale & leaseback, equity injections, valuations and financing, as well as ESG to the extent required by clients in this sector. In recent years, she has paid particular attention to exploring the impact of ESG on the real estate market and the pending wave of renovations and the transition from a linear to a circular economy.
Monika Dębska-Pastakia is a licensed real estate valuer, broker and commercial real estate advisor with over 30 years of experience in Central and Eastern Europe and the UK. She has worked with global investment funds, financial institutions, developers, 23 years of which she devoted to building and managing the Polish subsidiary of an international real estate advisory firm. In the last few years, she has focused on ESG issues, the circular economy, the renovation wave and their impact on the transformation of the real estate industry in Europe.
