The refurbished interiors of the Opera at the Castle in Szczecin have been photographed by Adam Słomski. The renovations involved adding new toilets, which are now available on each floor of the theatre, with one made as the result of deepening the cellar. The walls of the castle have also been stripped, while a VIP area has been created on one of the balconies, which has separate stairs and access to a separate room. Three new concert halls have been added to the building, while the number of seats remained the same – 550. The competition for the design of the project was won by MXL 4 Architekci, while Ineko won the competition to carry out the construction work. The project included functional and acoustic improvements to the stage and the orchestra area.
