Relief from the heat

For a very long time all the construction companies included in our table have been increasing in value. Investors believe that their second quarter results will be at least as good. The optimism of firms hit a ten year high in July and construction in Poland is speeding up nearly every month, according to GUS reports.

Construction companies have become more and more active – GTC has bought plots in Moldova and Hungary, and begun investments in Croatia worth EUR 80 mln, Energomontaz Poludnie wants to buy plots in Warsaw and move into development; and Energomontaz Polnoc has launched a public offer worth nearly PLN 80 mln.
