Acciona taking stock
Spanish firm Acciona, a major investor in the Polish construction company Mostostal Warszawa, increased its influence on one its Spanish competitors, FCC. Acciona announced that it now owns more than 15 pct of the company but doesn't plan to make an offer to other FFC shareholders for their stock.
Okęcie II delayed?
Budimex, Ferrovial and Estudio Lamela, the consortium that is to develop the new terminal at Warsaw's Okęcie airport, is attempting to push back the project's delivery date according to the Polish daily Rzeczpospolita. The investor, Przedsiębiorstwo Państwowe Porty Lotnicze denies this, admiting, however, that small changes to the plan have been negotiated. In the original agreement signed with the consortium, Terminal II was to be delivered by Autumn 2005. Unfortunately, the constructors only received the building permit in February 2004. Accoring to Budimex this makes delivery impossible before October
