Retail leases finalized at Metropolitan

Groundfloor retail space at the Metropolitan building, developed by Hines Polska, in Warsaw has been taken up by three firms. Redford & Grant have leased 726 sqm for five years, Escada Sport 120 sqm and Famco sixty for five years.

H&M signs lease agreement for Janki

The Swedish clothing retailer Hennes & Mauritz has signed a lease agreement with GE Capital Real Estate/Heitman Central Europe Property Partners, for a 1, 750 sqm retail outlet at the Janki shopping centre in Warsaw. H&M opened its first shop in Poland at the Wola Park retail complex earlier this year.

Kinoplex in Galeria Echo

A seven-screen Kinoplex cinema has opened at the Galeria Echo retail and leisure complex in Kielce, owned by Echo Investment. The cinema adds to the Tesco hypermarket and seventy shops, (including Smyk, Empik, Reserved and Giacomelli among others) which are already doing business at the 30,000 sqm metre centre.
