Madison Park, new name for Gdańsk scheme
Construction of the Madison Park retail centre in Gdańsk is underway.
The project, which until recently was called Centrum Heweliusz Retail Centre, will be
ready in November 2003.
Madison Park, which will have a usable area of over 27,400 sqm, is located at the
intersection of ul. Rajska and ul. Heweliusza. Kompania Budowlana Hossa, affiliate of the
developer Grupa Inwestycyjna Hossa S.A. is carrying out the construction.
EWACO enter Poland
EWACO is to start operating in Poland. The company was established by Claus J. Madsen, former director of IBI Poland. It's objective is to co-operate with retail chains helping them find locations for their stores as well as the construction of new investments.
Porr to build 'Stary Browar'
The German based Porr Projekt und Hochbau has been selected as general
contractor for the Centrum Biznesu i Sztuki 'Stary Browar' ('Old Brewery' Business and Art
Centre) scheme in Poznań. The complex will have a leasable area of 19,000 sqm and
comprise a 130-room hotel.
The design for the renovation and adaptation of the former brewery buildings was prepared
by Studio ADS. EC Harris is project manager. Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker is
leasing the project. Fortis is the developer of 'Stary Browar.'
