The company’s founder, Piotr Korwin-Małaszyński, had previously worked, for several decades, for such international construction firms as Hochtief and Porr, at which he acquired vast project management experience. He finally decided to set up on his own in 2005, when he founded APP-Projekt – a one-man business supported by a few specialists. Today, the company has almost 140 employees, while Piotr’s sons, Jacek and Michał, are members of the board and now in charge of the family business as it goes from strength to strength. Starting on a high note APP-Projekt’s first commission was on the Justin Center mixed-use development in Wrocław, back in 2006. The investor behind the project, SJM Development, entrusted APP with the role of substitute investor and also made the company responsible for the tenant coordination and cost control.
