A bee farm has been created on the 2 ha grounds of VGP Park Győr, while bird feeders are also soon to be added to the warehousing park.
The bee farm was planted on the site on Körtefa utca in Győr last autumn. The area, which has been sown with a perennial seed mix, has been serving local bee colonies at full capacity during the spring and summer. Due to the size of the area, the company has been working with food sustainability specialists Syngenta under the ‘Beporzó’ programme, with the approval of the Hungarian National Beekeepers’ Association.
