So, despite all the doubts and bookmakers’ forecasts, we were finally given the right to stage the Euro 2012 championships. It had all Europe rocking on its heels, including Poland. And since everyone in this country is a football and construction buff, a nationwide debate has also kicked off on whether we can cope. But this month we decided to go further and ask real experts what the UEFA decision means for Poland’s construction and investment sectors.
Our editorial team is also composed exclusively of specialists, so we decided to look for weak spots. It is no secret that a fundamental problem for this industry is the lack of skilled workers. So the obvious question is: how will this affect investment projects and how can we overcome the shortfall? We attempt to find the answer in this issue.
