Over the threshold

 During the first half of April, investors were struggling to reach the 3,000 pts threshold was crossed, and the WIG index broke the Moving on to the WSE’s construction sector, GTC’s share price suffered a decrease – according to analysts, investors decided to cash in their shares after a number of increases last month. But GTC is still investing – in April it bought a piece of land in Romania where it intends to develop apartments. Several companies announced the dividends they were going to pay for 2005 e.g. Projprzem (PLN 0.5 per share), Prochem (PLN 1.14 per share). Mostostal Zabrze once again faces the threat of their debt being called in by Belgium’s Vlassenroot. Mostostal owes them PLN 30.5 mln, a debt it has promised to repay. On May 12th, shareholders are to decide on whether to raise the capital through the issue of shares or bonds for creditors.
