Warsaw: 338 euros annual rent
London, followed by Paris and Tokyo, such are the leaders of the group of the world's most expensive cities in terms of annual office rent per square metre, according to the latest report of Business Space Across the World drawn up by Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker.
It costs almost 1,400 euros annually to rent one square metre in London's Mayfair, almost fifty percent more than in Paris (878 euros) and Tokyo (758 euros). For the first time Dublin has found its way onto the list of the world's ten most expensive cities (506 euros), taking the place of Frankfurt (495 euros). Rents, which account for greatest part of leasing costs, fell by 3 percent on the average in 2002 of the world's best office locations, which is a much smaller drop than in the previous year.
