DTZ triumphed in this year’s real estate beach volleyball tournament organised by JLL. The silver went to the MLP Group team, while Panattoni Europe came third after a tough match against Torus. The entire event was attended by app. 1,500 people, including 280 contestants in 40 teams

This year a record amount of PLN 292,000 was raised (PLN 100,000 more than in 2014) for the ‘Help on Time’ (Zdążyć z Pomocą) children’s foundation. The funds came from the entry fees as well as the charity auction. One of the items auctioned (a Strida portable folding bicycle provided by Bike2Box) went to Anna Młyniec, the head of the office agency and tenant representation ay JLL. “I like and appreciate healthy
rivalry, and the auction at the Volleyball Tournament is not only great fun but first of all because it’s all in a noble cause. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to support the ‘Help on Time’ foundation during such special events as well as every day. My whole family was happy with the Strida bicycle I won in the auction – I just need to learn how to fold and unfold it now,” she said. Meanwhile, Bożena Krawczyk is probably already packing her suitcases because she won a  stay at  a Berlin hotel during the bidding. “The JLL tournament, in spite of being mostly a sports and entertainment event, has become a fixture in the diary of the real estate industry as one of the most important annual meetings. The evening’s charity auction brings out similar emotions as the rivalry on the volleyball courts. It is also great fun, even better considering the fact that we can help those who are in need most. We are not always able to find the time for this in our everyday lives, which is why we are happy that the JLL tournament is such a great opportunity to become part of charitable activities and do something together. We were bidding in this year’s auction together with my colleague – Joanna Nasiłkowska-Krawczyk of Ghelamco Poland,” explained Bożena Krawczyk, Segro’s investment director for Central Europe.

This year’s meeting, which took place on July 30th at Warsaw’s La Playa club, was attended by the following companies: Adgar Poland, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Berlin Hyp, Bird & Bird, CBRE, Capital Park, Colliers, Balmain Asset Management, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Deloitte, Dentons, ECI, DTZ, Ghelamco, HB Reavis, Echo Investment, ING Real Estate, Knight Frank, NAI Estate Fellows, Heitman, MLP Group, Multi Development Poland, Neinver, Torus, Panattoni Europe, Nuvalu, Peakside Capital, Polski Holding Nieruchomości, Prologis, PZU Inwestycje, Savills, Segro, Rossmann, Skanska, Xcity Investment, TriGranit togetherwith TPA Horwath, Unibail-Rodamco, White Star Real Estate and Valad.
