POLAND The city of Warsaw has announced an international competition for a design concept for plac Centralny - the square in front of the Palace of Culture and Science.
Entrants are to design the part of plac Defilad between the main entrance to the Palace of Culture and ul. Marszałkowska. To the north of the future square will stand the Museum of Modern Art and the TR Warszawa theatre.
