Hungary Honvéd granted Very Good

The BREEAM In-Use sustainability certification system employs eight categories to assess the environmental impact of buildings already in use and the ecological footprint of their operations. The assessment criteria include water usage and energy management, waste management, environmentally-friendly solutions, local biodiversity, and the well-being and health of occupants. The Honvéd Center comprises around 3,900 sqm gla, while its main building dates back to the turn of the 19th century. The new building includes 2,300 sqm of space on six floors.

The sustainability and the environmental impact of our buildings are priorities for us at Wing, and as a result we have constructed our major developments with a commitment to sustainability for over ten years now, and the buildings that were completed earlier are continuously being modernised with an environmental focus. We are delighted that the two buildings of Honvéd Center, another of our iconic downtown complexes, have received certification, which shows that with careful planning even older buildings can be managed sustainably in an eco-friendly manner,
