Constructor accused of bribery
ROMANIA Dan Șova, the Minister for Infrastructure Projects of National Interest and Foreign Investment, has filed a complaint with the country’s National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) alleging that a senior manager of a Romanian construction company attempted to bribe him in Beijing in order to win a motorway construction contract.
Retail supply falling, but growing in Moscow
RUSSIA In the first three quarters of this year the completions of quality Russian retail premises amounted to 721,000 sqm, 30 pct less than the 1 mln sqm recorded in Q1–Q3 2012 – according to a report by Jones Lang LaSalle.
