Polish online retailers looking to go global

E-commerce
POLAND Around 24 pct of Polish online retailers are currently considering foreign expansion claims the ‘The Challenges of E-commerce’ report prepared by the Kronenberg Foundation at Citi Handlowy.
Around 65 pct of Polish companies in this sector are currently active in foreign markets (58 pct in Western and Central Europe, 26 pct in Eastern Europe, 9 pct in Asia and 6 pct in the USA). Around 20 pct of these retailers also set up new sales outlets. The biggest risks to these businesses are changing laws and increasing competition from large international chains. The latest trends on the ecommerce market include same day deliveries, as well as the use of virtual reality and artificial intel

Romania Radisson Blu refinanced

The Radisson Blu Hotel Complex in the heart of Bucharest has been refinanced with a EUR 123 mln loan. The hotel complex is owned by Revetas Capital together with funds and accounts managed by Cerberus Capital Management. The facility was underwritten by Deutsche Pfandbriefbank (pbb) with whom Revetas has a long-standing relationship.
