E-commerce is still a big challenge

WORLD Majority of companies have failed to fully implement an e-commerce strategy despite recognizing its importance, according to DHL’s global survey of nearly 900 decision-makers responsible for logistics or supply chain management and e-commerce.
The survey reveals that 70 pct of B2C companies and 60 pct of B2B companies are still working towards the full implementation of their strategy, even though 70 pct of respondents rate e-commerce as 'Very Important' or 'Extremely Important' to their business in terms of volume and revenue. Cushman & Wakefield has summarised the situation in Poland’s largest office markets at the end of 2024. Leasing activity in both Warsaw and regional cities remained at 2023’s levels, while development activity continued to stagnate. Arcona Property Fund has completed the acquisition of a development site in the central Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The seller is AIM London-listed Secure Property Investment and Development PLC (SPDI). This is thought to be the first real estate acquisition by a Western private fund in Ukraine since the Russian invasion of 2022.
