Logistics firms feeling the heat from e-commerce

POLAND According to the recent ‘Supply Chain for E-commerce. How to Meet the Challenges’ report published by DHL Supply Chain, most logistics companies in the contract logistics sector have yet to implement a strategy for the online retail segment.
Almost 900 global logistics and supply chain providers, including those that are active in the e-commerce sector, were surveyed for the report. Out of these, almost 70 pct of B2C companies and 60 pct of B2B companies are still working on the introduction of strategies for this market segment.
