Logistics firms feeling the heat from e-commerce

POLAND According to the recent ‘Supply Chain for E-commerce. How to Meet the Challenges’ report published by DHL Supply Chain, most logistics companies in the contract logistics sector have yet to implement a strategy for the online retail segment.
Almost 900 global logistics and supply chain providers, including those that are active in the e-commerce sector, were surveyed for the report. Out of these, almost 70 pct of B2C companies and 60 pct of B2B companies are still working on the introduction of strategies for this market segment. The first stage of Panattoni Park Będzin is now fully leased. The 27,600 sqm building is fully occupied, with the largest deal signed by a leading e-commerce operator, which will take more than 24,000 sqm. The tenant is scheduled to start operations at the park in December 2026.

Czech Republic Mint rezidenční fond buys 306 apartments in Prague

Mint rezidenční fond, which operates in the private rented sector (PRS), has bought 306 new apartments from developer Metrostav Development at the Vysočanský mlýn complex in Prague. The building has 11,500 sqm of floor space. The deal takes Mint’s total number of apartments in the complex to 547, more than half the total number of apartments in the complex.
