Chamber for e-commerce

POLAND The Polish Chamber of Digital Commerce (e-Izba) has set up the Retailers Group e-Chamber to support companies who operate in e-commerce and omnichannel sales or are planning to start a business in this sector.
Advice for such companies will be provided by Polish and international experts. Dorota Bachman, a member of e-Izba and the CEO of Polish online bookseller Ravelo, has been appointed chair of the new group. “As an entity than brings together more than 200 e-commerce businesses, we have decided to launch a new group that supports retailers. Poland Strabag to build for Wrocław Airport

Wrocław Airport is to construct a terminal to serve passengers travelling outside the Schengen Area. The project. which is being developed in an investment of PLN 15.4 mln, will increase the airport's capacity, improve passenger traffic management, and maintain a high level of comfort until the expansion of the main terminal is completed. Strabag is the contractor for the project, and the work is to be completed by April 30, 2027.

Czech Republic Gridarch completes centre for BMW

Developer Gridarch has completed the third phase of construction at Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park in Mošnov. Three new industrial buildings including office space with a total leasable area of 124,000 sqm will be used by BMW Group as its overseas logistics distribution centre.

POLAND Senate votes to standardise house price reporting

The Polish Senate has passed an amendment to the Act on the Protection of the Rights of Purchasers of Residential Units and Single-Family Homes and to the Developer Guarantee Fund. The new regulations do not change the obligation to publish the prices of homes on investment websites, but introduce a uniform method for submitting this data to the state portal dane.gov.pl.

Romania Bucharest dominates the office market

During the first half of 2026, companies leased a total of 80,790 sqm of office space in Bucharest, representing a 29 pct increase compared with the same period of 2025, according to a report by Fortim Trusted Advisors, Alliance Member of BNP Paribas Real Estate. Cluj-Napoca also recorded stronger office leasing activity than in the first half of last year.
