UBM Development Czechia is close to completing the refurbishment of the more than 100-year-old former Cukrovarnického paláce (Sugar Palace) on Senovážné náměstí in the centre of Prague, which is to re-open in the spring as the Andaz Prague Hotel.
The five-star Andaz Prague will offer 176 guestrooms and is to be operated by Hyatt. Trial operations for the hotel are to begin early this year.
Once the necessary approvals are received for the opening, it will also have a branch of Fio bank and a Relay store in the retail and services space on the ground floor. The hotel will also have a fitness and wellness centre, restaurants and bars, and 450 sqm of event space.
