Record demand for Polish warehousing

POLAND The demand for warehouse space in Poland has reaches its highest level since 2008. In the first half of this year app. 1.17 mln sqm was leased – 20 pct more than in H1 2014, according to the latest report by JLL.

SLOVAKIA The Slovak industrial and logistics market showed increased activity in Q2 2015, mainly in terms of new leases. The total volume of closed transactions in Q2 2015 reached app. 53,000 sqm. Although the second quarter of last year was more active (by app. 15.5 pct), in comparison to Q1 2015 there has been a 22.5 pct increase in transactional activity.

RUSSIA The vacancy rate for the Moscow region’s warehouse market rose to 11.2 pct by the end of Q2. The number is only marginally lower than the level registered in 2009, when it reached 11.6 pct, according to a JLL report.
