Russia takes over from Poland as CEE investment volumes slip
EUROPE Commercial real estate investment in Europe totalled EUR 28.3 bln in Q3 2012 – a 14 pct increase on the level recorded in Q2 2012 and almost exactly the same as in Q3 2011, according to CBRE.
Morgan Stanley poised to buy Metropolis “for USD 1.9 bln”
RUSSIA Morgan Stanley is concluding exclusive negotiations to buy the Metropolis shopping centre in Moscow for a price rumoured to be around USD 1.9 bln, according to media sources.
HopStop retail parks enter the market
POLAND Katharsis Development is planning to build a chain of convenience retail parks under the HopStop brand. Its first centres will be built in Warsaw, Radom, Siedlce and Zamość.
Senator now 80 pct leased
POLAND Discovery Networks CEEMEA has leased over 1,800 sqm from Ghelamco Poland in the Senator office building in Warsaw and is to move into its new offices in March 2013.
Cinema3D in Galeria Leszno
POLAND Cinema3D is to open a four-screen multiplex in Galeria Leszno, its fourth cinema after Galeria Twierdza in Kłodzko, Galeria Tęcza in Kalisz and Galeria Świdnicka.
Redan requests debt reschedule
POLAND Grupa Redan has presented its creditors with a proposal to reschedule its debt repayments. Redan has asked the banks and bond holders to suspend the repayment of the principal until the end of February 2013, which was originally to be repaid before this date.
Skobud to build MPTI second stage
POLAND Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego Skobud has signed a PLN 41.2 mln contract with Kraków Technology Park to build the second stage of the Małopolska Information Technology Park (MPTI).
PGR Farmland redeveloped
POLAND A consortium of Pol-Dróg Warszawa and Pol-Dróg Dolny Śląsk has signed a contract with the Myszków administrative district to redevelop 42 ha of land that formerly belonged to PGR state farms.

Second office building for Corvin Promenade
HUNGARY Futureal is to build a second office building of 6,200 sqm at Corvin Promenade in Budapest in an investment of EUR 16 mln.
Genesys begins in Danhouse
POLAND Genesys has leased 340 sqm of office space in Danhouse in Bydgoszcz. CBRE, which advised the tenant in the negotiation process, is also responsible for fit-out project management provided to Genesys.
Investa leases half as much again in Stryków
POLAND Steel and aluminium provider Investa has leased an additional 5,000 sqm in Tulipan Park Stryków, outside Łódź.
Futureal joins Gant for three further projects
