RE Project Development starts a new project
POLAND Ferio Wawer is the name of a new proposed shopping centre to be developed by RE Project Development. The centre is to be located at the junction of ul. Szpotańskiego and ul. Żegańska in Warsaw’s Wawer district.
H&M in Nowy Sącz to grow
POLAND The H&M clothing chain in Galeria Sandecja in Nowy Sącz is to increase in size by 600 sqm to more than 1,600 sqm.
Galeria Warmińska strengthens its tenant mix

Queuing up to build Poznań ring road

Ringwood takeover of PHN approved
POLAND The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has approved Ringwood Financial’s (a subsidiary of Grupa Radius) proposed takeover of Polski Holding Nieruchomości (PHN) ruling that the deal would not limit competition.
Emilia ain’t so historical
POLAND The inclusion of the Emilia store on ul. Emilii Plater in Warsaw in the city’s index of listed buildings was contrary to the directives of the Minister of Culture.
New factory for Stoldrew
POLAND In Brzeźno, Amwin is to build a warehouse and production hall with office space and social areas for Stoldrew.
Smyk comes to Rzgów
POLAND In March, toy store Smyk is to join the tenants of the Ptak Outlet outlet centre in Rzgów near Łódź with a 550 sqm lease. The centre offers 33,000 sqm of retail space which should eventually house 140 units.

UKRAINE Supermarket chain Novus has leased 3,800 sqm in a free standing building on the Comfort Town estate.
Tunnel tender announced
BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA A tender has been announced to complete the construction of the 3.1 km Gorica–Bilješevo subsection of the Corridor Vc motorway, which includes finishing work on a tunnel of just under 3 km.
Hidroelectrica to move to Tower Center
ROMANIA Insolvent electricity generator Hidroelectrica has signed a ten-year lease in Tower Center, according to its court appointed administrator, Euro Sol.
CEIF granted extension on EUR 169 mln loan
CEE REGION PBB Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has agreed a three-year extension to its EUR 169 mln senior facility to the Central European Industrial Fund (CEIF), which is jointly managed by Valad Europe and Aviva Investors.
Ronson closes year with higher sales
POLAND Developer Ronson sold 119 apartments in Q4 2012 compared to 58 in Q4 2011. – it is a better sales result compared to the one achieved in the same period in 2011.
ABM Solid in liquidation again
POLAND Construction company ABM Solid, which is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, has filed a petition to change its bankruptcy proceedings from liquidation to a bankruptcy open to arrangements.
Inpro sells fewer apartments
POLAND Apartment sales were down for Grupa Inpro in 2012. Over the four quarters of the year the company sold 356 apartments, 16 pct fewer than in 2011.
Porr extends road
POLAND Porr Polska is to extend provincial road no. 650 between Srokowo and Węgorzewo in the Warmian-Masurian Province.
Pol-Dróg to redevelop PCK roundabout
POLAND The city of Zielona Góra has chosen Pol-Dróg to redevelop the PCK roundabout. Seven companies entered the tender, which was announced in October and the offers were opened in November.
