Towards people. Comfort for occupiers and space for contemporary business

Never before have employees and their well-being been placed so high in the pyramid of needs of Polish organizations. As they battle for best talent on the labour market and wish to improve team effectiveness, businesses take the decision to move into modern and efficient office buildings which are treated as representative of the organization’s brand in the recruitment process. The new approach to space administration covers more than simple management of technical issues. Nowadays, office management is a true art that combines elements of HR, facility and workplace management, as well as providing control over wellness aspects. It represents a great challenge for all administrationprofessionals that will be compelled to adapt their strategies to the newly emerging employee needs.

As early as October, we will be welcoming nearly 500 real estate specialists to PGE Narodowy in Warsaw to discuss the key trends and changes occurring on the market. The Real Estate Management Congress means two days of meetings, 8 panels, industry networking, expert workshops and 5 subject-dedicated stages. During the event, professional expertise will become intertwined with practical experience, thus providing a unique overview of the most important industry topics.

Mainstage

The main stage will host as many as 8 subject-dedicated panels. We will kick off with the bombshell that is facility management focused on the human factor and the attempt to redefine its function within an organization.From here, it will only be a short step tospace and workplace management and the role it plays in creating spaces conducive to improved team performance. We will then change our perspective to obtain a bird’s eye view on the contemporary features of sustainable facility management duringa panel dedicated to ecology, environment and sustainability management.

Towards the end of the first day, there will be another noteworthy panel on technologies and infrastructure where we will be discussing how the Internet of Things will impact on the way commercial buildings are used and managed. We will then join forces to consider how to set out an organization’s key objectives based on the benefits brought by implementation and application of a coherent corporate real estate management strategy.

On the second day, following a morning coffee, we will analyse how conscious founding of communities around buildings affects the real estate leasing and marketing process. It will then bea smooth transition to office management related topics and the role employee communication plays in creating a thriving workplace.

The congress finale will come in the form of a panel dedicated to corporate wellness and deliberations on how employers can increase employees’ happiness by caring for their mental and physical well-being.

Amenities

A special chillout zone will be available to all participants. This will include an innovation stage as well as presentations of furniture and the interiors of attractive office buildings. Moreover, the event’s organizer will provide a networking space and a mobile application for exchange of contact details. An evening cocktail party will then offer the opportunity to cement the relationships forged during the event. The event’s organizer is Forum Media Polska, the publisher behind the “Real Estate Manager” and “Outsourcing Magazine” periodicals. The October industry congress is founded on the 11-year-old tradition continued with pride by the editors of “Real Estate Manager”. PGE Narodowy has been chosen for the event’s location for the second time now.
