Poland Monting Development to modernise ul. Chłodna
Ul. Chłodna Street is to undergo a full refurbishment from ul. Wronia to ul. Towarowa. Monting Development is at its own expense to design and develop a section of the project, from ul. Żelazna Street to ul. Wronia.

Germany Strabag to help build Fehmarn tunnel
Strabag has been appointed by DB InfraGO AG to construct several sections of the Fehmarn Sound Crossing, connecting the island of Fehmarn with the German mainland via a 2.2 km tunnel. The tunnel is to replace the existing Fehmarn Sound Bridge. Road traffic will run on four lanes through two tunnel tubes, while a rail line will be routed on two tracks in separate tubes.

Romania Strabag constructs Deleni wind farm
Strabag has been commissioned to erect 23 GE Vernova wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6.1 MW by PPC Renewables Romania. The 140 MW wind farm Deleni will be the largest renewable energy plant in the Moldova region.

Poland Tender awarded for CPK rail changes
The Central Communication Port (CPK) has awarded a tender for track layout changes in the Retkinia area of Łódź to Multiconsult Polska, who bid PLN 58.7 mln gross.

Beyond.pl, a data centre, cloud, and managed services provider and owner of data centres in Poland, is expanding its colocation project for AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing solutions launched in January this year. The company announced that it is working to increase the target capacity of its campus in Poznań by almost 2 times.

Poland PLN 1.5 bln for the airport
The investment programme until 2030 worth more than PLN 1.5 bln has been approved for Katowice's Wojciech Korfanty Airport. The programme will include more than 20 projects, with the construction of a passenger terminal, a cargo terminal, a technical hangar, as well as taking into account changes to the airport's transport system.

Poland Powerful photovoltaic farm in Przykona
Electrum is building a 200 MW solar farm for EDP Renewables. The project will be built on 245 hectares in the Przykona municipality in the Greater Poland voivodeship. The investment is being carried out in record time of less than a year. The engineering work is scheduled to be completed in autumn 2023.
